Sabor a mar en un cómodo formato: brochetas de rape y vieras

Flavor of the sea in a convenient format: monkfish and scallop skewers

Fish skewers are very easy to make and can be prepared with different types of fish, according to your tastes and the catch of the day from your trusted fishmonger. Today we suggest using monkfish, a soft and light fish that combines perfectly with scallops and the acidity and sweetness of oranges. These are the steps you should follow to enjoy your own monkfish and scallop skewers:

INGREDIENTS :

  • 500 g clean monkfish
  • 3 oranges
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • Salt pepper
  • fresh thyme

PREPARATION :

Remove the zest and squeeze the juice from an orange, add a pinch of salt, olive oil and thyme leaves.

Cut the remaining oranges into slices and the peppers into squares. Cut the monkfish into cubes and insert the ingredients on wooden skewers: yellow pepper, monkfish, folded orange, green pepper, scallop, red pepper, monkfish, orange and so on.

Brush the skewers with the juice, oil and thyme mixture.

Place on the barbecue and let them brown on both sides for 12-15 minutes.
